The organization’s former board of directors chair and vice chair had uncovered evidence of financial irregularities, which had prompted them to file charges against Tilman Zülch.

The accused is alleged that he enriched himself at the expense of the organization’s assets, as state prosecutor Frank-Michael Laue declared. In addition, Tilman Zülch is accused of having given money to other individuals and therefore to have harmed the organization.

I think basically the STP started as a good organisation. But success lures people into overestimating themselves. They forget, that a humanrights organisation is there to help the harrassed. When the orgaisation gets bigger, they start harrassing their employees. They use the same tactics within the society which they criticize outside the society. Keeping the show going on is then more important than working for justice. Working for funds seems to get the upper hand. This is what I think happens. Did this happen in the STP? The people who work there would know best. They should speak out!
Was money embezzeled? Is the organisation a victim of false charges? Let them publish their accounts in some news-paper, so that all concerned have an insight and judge for themselves. Sounds crazy but could silence the critics.
